To supplement the History curriculum content of Viking and Anglo-Saxon invasions of Britain students in Year 7 visited the Jorvik Viking Centre. Supporting what is being taught in the classroom, including medieval city and town life, the visit included a fascinating workshop on Viking battle tactics presented by the Jorvik Centre staff.
