At Boston Spa Academy we truly value the holistic development of our students. We are proud to give students an opportunity to be part of our Student Leadership Teams. Our Student Leadership Teams are aligned with our core values and important aspects of academy life.
STUDENT LEADERSHIP TEAM ROLES
At Boston Spa Academy we are passionate about giving our students a voice and an opinion about how the academy is run. We want our students to leave us as responsible citizens who:
- Make a positive contribution to society
- Are well prepared for life and work, including economic and moral freedom
- Appreciate the benefits of diversity and challenge injustice
- Believe they can change things for the better
- Earn the esteem of others
Our Student Leaders all applied for the position of their chosen leadership team, and those who were successfully appointed attend regular meetings both together as a team, and with the Head and Deputy Head Student Leaders who form the Student Leadership Board. The Student Leadership Teams regularly collect feedback from the student voice. The Student Leadership Board then meet with the Senior Leadership Team to discuss any issues and potential changes collected from the student voice.

At Boston Spa Academy, we have five Students who make up the Student Leadership Board, these students are all in Year 11 and they were elected by their peers and members of staff within the academy.
